Our first oncologist visit (PCV:23)

First, the PCV: Down to 23. One point down from yesterday. Definitely a looming feeling of: What if this continues to go down? We'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Second: the Oncologist. She's great and the staff is very kind. Everyone knows Kaesea by now (we're at the same clinic that he had been incarcerated at for 11 days) and it's nice to feel like everyone is rooting for us. We got the chemo pills to be given every other day (with rubber gloves on -- kah-reepy!) and the Prednizone to be given every day. Fingers crossed that these two drugs combined can get our Kaesea back on the mend.

And third: Ugh. He weighs 10.19 lbs. He was about 12 lbs in the beginning of April. It's heart-wrenching to see my once fluffy boy wasting away. I hope that the medication will encourage him to eat and gain weight. I would love to see him looking healthy and fluffy again.
